Available: quilt studio helper

Hi everyone:

I know that most of you could use a helper in your quilt studio - someone to give you fabric suggestions, positive comments on your designs and maybe even do a little typing, if you're a blogger. I'm fortunate to have someone in my house who fulfills all these requirements and doesn't even cost me a penny to do it. No, I'm not talking about my husband, nor my children. I'm talking about Teeka, my quilting cat.

Teeka is always willing to come down to my quilt studio and check out what's going on. She'll even get right up close to my quilt projects and let me know if she approves of my design and fabric choices.

In these photos you can see Teeka "commenting" on my latest GO! project. I think she approves!

In addition, she's only too happy to do a bit of typing for me when the need arises.

Do you have a "helper" in your studio? I'd love to hear all about him or her.

If you don't and you're looking for a little extra help, Teeka is available at reasonable rates.

Love that little girl you are making with your Accuquilt dies! She's adorable! The helper in my sewing room is a 4 yrs old boy... about as helpful as your kitty cat I'm sure! :-)

Will post more on the little girl once I've made more progress on her - she looks much better with more embellishments. I hear you about the 4 year old boy. Hopefully he'll grow up to be a quilter!

Oh, I love Teeka! How beautiful. I do have a quilt helper, but he's more of a hindrance. He will grab the quilt I'm sewing on and pull on it. I have found fabric in the yard and if I leave fabric on the cutting mat he will yank it down to the floor. I don't think he likes my quilts.

My two cats are to busy sleeping to help me out. LOL! Your helper is so cute!

Stormy Days - maybe your cat is just trying to drag your work outside to show it to his friends!
Nice to have cats that sleep while you're working, Shannon, then they don't get in the way. :)

I also have two canine quilter helpers. Kc and Elli Bellie always seem to have to be right near by. They just happen to be full grown labs.
